Popcorn Den Kernels Needed!!

Posted on Jul 27 2015 - 10:11pm

Attention all Parents, the Pack needs your help! August is the month we begin selling popcorn and we need your help to organize the Dens. The Den Leaders put in a lot of work throughout the year. We need you to step up and help your respective Dens. We have a Popcorn Kernel for the Pack, but we need help at the Den Level. You will need to keep track of your respective Den's inventory, money handling and set times for when and where your Dens will be selling with the Pack Kernel. This is our one BIG fund raiser, and we need to bring in some money for the Pack. Please contact your Den Leader if you are interested and wiling to help with this.

Core Value

Posted on Jul 27 2015 - 10:06pm

This month's Core Value is "Courage".  What a perfect month for this Core Value.  Our Forefathers and the ordinary Colonist demonstrated such courage in foraging our great nation.  The Mothers of the Revolution showed great courage as they educated the new, young American children in the knowledge of this great "American Experiment".  The American pioneers who followed the Great Wilderness Road after Daniel Boone literally cut through the frontier, showed incredible courage.  Let us take these brave examples to inspire our children to continue the American legacy of courage.   Car rides, dinner time, and campfire times are great opportunities to have discussions on Courage.  Below are the talking points.
